C.Hub magazine anniversary dates announced.

In what has been described as a night of celebration of  real creative talents and hard work, C.hub magazine celebrates her one year of unwavering quest to give Africa a place on the world map . In just one year, C.Hub magazine has become one of the leading African magazines published in the UK to truly balance the media coverage targeting the Black community both here in the UK and globally.

According to the publishing Director, Emeka Anyanwu, “Our primary objective is to make sure that African (Black )talents young and old are given a fair opportunity to showcase themselves to their audience. We are continually sourcing for the best and original talents to showcase. C.Hub magazine is not just another fashion magazine. It goes beyond that, it is a source of inspiration, motivation and drive for talents who work so hard to make a difference. And today I’m glad to say that we are on the right track given the massive support so far".

To celebrate this huge stride, the anniversary is set to bring together the who is who in the African and Caribbean community both in the UK and abroad. Top notch celebrities, movie directors, fashion designers, events organizers and media houses have been invited to this event. In this star studded party, the best of African and African inspired designers will take to the runway to showcase outstanding classic designs that will set the scene for African fashion for 2014.  The likes of Nigerian international brand Adebayo Jones, Ghanaian international designer Kgtkkt, eclectic jewel designer Jodyline London , Eldimaa timeless fashion , stylish and bespoke jewels designs from Dapri Jewels London and a host of others have already been  listed to showcase on this event. "It is the runway that will define the next step in African fashion and design". Says Gayle Thompson, top model and our fashion editor. 

To headline the music scene is Afrobeats hottest artist  Komo official , followed by Yezzi Yezzir one of London’s youngest active female rappers. We have also London’s biggest DJ - DJ Fasida to blast the roof top.
On the dance scene are super talented London contemporary, Azonto, Makosa, etighi, street dancers ( Iam Movement and GOP Dancers) set to again blow your minds off. It is a never seen before gathering of the best of who does what in the London Black entertainment and media industry.
The red carpet event will be hosted by the popular and graceful by the Duchess TV interviewing celebrities and special guests on the day, with a host of other media houses expected to attend the party.
During the one year, there has been few people that have given enormous support and help to the growth and success of the C.Hub Magazine vision, these few people will also be recognized and celebrated on the night.
Over a thousand people especially high class names are expected to attend the event.  Guests will be welcomed and ushered  into the prestigious hall by fresh and beautiful models hand picked to grace the event.

MOBO Awards last night unveiled its' shortlist for their 18th annual MOBO Awards – a superb combination featuring the very best artists across a broad range of MOBO categories.
We are particularly excited that some top names in Nigerian and Ghana music industry, made it into the nominations list for 'Best African Act', including; Tiwa Savage, WizKid, Ice prince and Fuse ODG who also performed on stage last night at the launch party.
