Dr Joe Okei Odumakin one of the African women awardee for the women4africa has been honoured by Michelle Obama and the secretary of States John Kerry along with 8 other women from around the world. The secretary of states International women's award is a part of initiative to empower, recognise the efforts and contributions of women in fighting women right and other women related cases.On the 8th of March 2013, the first Lady, Michelle Obama joined the Secretary of states to present Dr Okei with the award. These are courageous women who risk even their own life for the cause that the fight.
